"The food is on point if you are looking to have traditional Nigerian food, without the hassle of cooking or bothering a family member to cook for you. Must try, Yam porridge...YUM! Okra soup is on point.. Make sure you confirm the meat you want. Thanks FAD."

"Let's just say awesome authentic Nigerian food! I'm from NYC where it's easy to find different ethnic cuisine! FAD offers a diverse menu! The owner and the staff were very friendly! The Suya was so flavorful and tender! They served some beans that were to die for! Let's just say that I've eaten at a few Nigerian restaurants but I must say FAD is #1! I'm very pleased and definitely will be back very soon!"

"The creative idea of the restaurant is brilliant, the food, the ambience and particularly the music defines the contemporary Africans-in-American experience. The Diaspora is well served by the likes of this restaurant that provides, good food at reasonable prices, modern and traditional mixes of African - American culture with a ballroom / conference atmosphere that is welcoming as it delivers its promises. Cudos for an excellent experience!! We recommend it highly to all races too!"

FAD IS FAB
by Ade (1 review) July 05, 2010 - Really likes it
"It will take some doing to knock FAD off the Nigerian restaurant top spot it has occupied since opening in March 2010 The Cobb County location may not provide luxurious surroundings, and some venues may have more intrepid menus, but for food and atmosphere FAD is in a class of its own. Behind the inconspicuous exterior, you'll find a well-presented airy space with walls decorated with colourful African art. Well-heeled Nigerian families and other in-the-know ATL dine here. The restaurant boasts a simple, unchanging menu of Nigerian classics such as egusi with spinach, or efo riro - spinach stew served with meat or fish and pounded yam or eba (a staple made with gari). Full explanations come from the friendly staff. King prawns with jollof rice was spicy and plentiful, although the rice was unusually soft . Asaro was soft and tender, with a generous portion of spicy tilapia providing the perfect accompaniment in texture and taste. Service is Excellent - Yet although not a place for a quick bite, FAD is a culinary experience to savour."
